Senior Machine Learning Engineer, GenAI

You will own GenAI systems end to end, from the first thin slice a client can depend on to the production deployment inside their data center. This is delivery work for real enterprises in banking, insurance, and logistics — where the model is the easy part and the operating model around it is the job.

What you will work on

Retrieval-augmented systems that cite their sources, domain language models tuned on a client's own corpus, and the evaluation harnesses that decide whether an answer is shippable. Everything you build is designed to survive an audit from day one.

What you will do

• Design and deliver GenAI systems (RAG, tuned domain LLMs, agents) that reach production, not just a convincing demo.
• Build grounding and evaluation into every system so each output is traceable to a source a reviewer can accept.
• Deploy on-premise and in-VPC, keeping client data inside their control throughout.
• Work directly with client engineering and compliance teams as a practitioner, not through an account manager.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years building ML/ML-systems in production, with recent hands-on GenAI/LLM work.
• Strong Python and at least one of PyTorch, JAX, or the modern LLM tooling stack (LangChain/LlamaIndex, vector stores, eval frameworks).
• Experience deploying models in constrained or on-premise environments, not only managed cloud APIs.
• A bias toward shipping the smallest end-to-end system that a real user can depend on.
